This work was commissioned by William Berz and the New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra. It has been performed extensively and internationally with a violin soloist replacing the solo oboe.  It was featured at the 2013 meeting of the International Double Reed Society in Redlands, CA, Matt Sullivan, soloist.
