Benediction for mixed chorus (SATB) (1990)

When I was teaching at Baylor University in Texas during the 1980’s, I went to a Methodist church there which had a fine preacher, a very eloquent man, though humble. His self-written weekly benediction was always inspirational to me and I set it for mixed chorus. It is essentially an affirmation of the worthiness of all people on this earth.

It is not done in Finale, but the score is in good hand. The work will be transcribed into notation software in the near future.
